Project Description

After 15 years in this penthouse with good bones and even better views, our clients, a fashion forward couple with no children, knew it was time to freshen up its dated interiors.

The goal was to bring the inside up to par with the outside with its views of the New York City skyline. Living in arguably the most stylish and hectic city in the world means our clients desired both chic functionality and a quiet sanctuary above all the fray. To start they wanted to paint, refinish the floors, and do a little reupholstering. But once we began collaborating, we came up with an unexpected plan.

Grounded in space planning and custom colors, the concept really took off! Creating an elegant sanctuary began with custom gray floors and gray walls with metallic accent walls that mirror the cool beauty of the skyline and river outside. To add edge to a guest space, we used  a custom Flavor Paper wallcovering that tied into the floors and walls.
